On July 21, on the second “Suzhou Entrepreneur Day”, the Conference on Optimizing the Business Environment and the High-quality Development of the Private Economy in Suzhou was successfully held. The “2023 Top 100 Private Enterprises in Suzhou” and “Top 100 Innovative Private Enterprises in Suzhou 2023” lists were released at the conference. BOZHON was simultaneously ranked third among the top 100 innovative private companies and 67th among the top 100 private companies.

On the basis of the extensive mobilization of organizations at all levels of industry and commerce and the voluntary participation of private enterprises in the survey, the Suzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce ranked the list of “2023 Top 100 Private Enterprises in Suzhou” according to the 2022 annual operating income indicators of enterprises. BOZHON jumped from 88th position to 67th place on the list in 2020.

The Suzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Suzhou Science and Technology Bureau jointly organized the relevant research and selection work. With this support, the selection of Top 100 Innovative Private Enterprises in Suzhou 2023 is based on the 2022 Torch Statistical Enterprise Annual Report data and various public materials, as well as the comprehensive calculation and ranking of four indicators: innovation input, innovation output, innovation performance, and innovation management.

BOZHON has more than 1,900 technical R&D engineers by the end of 2022, and R&D expenses account for more than 10% of sales revenue. It has obtained 1,036 patents for inventions, 1,181 patents for utility models, and 138 patents for designs. It has 2,356 valid authorized patents and 448 software copyrights in total. Third on the list, BOZHON’s operating income growth in 2022 will be substantially driven by technological advancements.

In the future, BOZHON will continue to rely on the investment and development platform of Suzhou, concentrate on the equipment manufacturing industry, dedicate itself to independent technological innovation, continuously improve its own technological innovation level, and bolster its core competitiveness for future development. BOZHON will also take an active role in the development of an innovation consortium to fully utilize the capabilities of industry leaders and the benefits of automation equipment system integration technology and research and development. In addition, it will heavily integrate numerous cutting-edge features of the equipment manufacturing sector to boost the sector’s standard of scientific research and innovation, enhancing the overall strength of scientific and technological innovation and encouraging the innovative growth of the equipment manufacturing sector by contributing more power to the promotion of the creation of the Suzhou innovation cluster.
