The "Digitalized Solution for Battery Cell Manufacturing Process Equipment" of Bozhon Precision Industry has been selected as one of the "2023 Intelligent Manufacturing System Solution Unveiling and Commendation Projects" unveiled by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Administration for Market Regulation. It makes Bozhon Precision Industry one of the eight companies from Jiangsu Province that have been included in the list.

Bozhon Precision Industry entered the field of lithium battery intelligent manufacturing equipment in 2018. With strong R&D and innovation capabilities. It has entered into strategic cooperation with a number of industry leading enterprises, achieving fruitful results in R&D and manufacturing of key equipment such as injection, cutting and stacking, and integration of assembly lines.

In the injection manufacturing process segment, it has developed such products as Bluetooth cell injection machines, pouch cell injection machines, prismatic cell injection machines, blade cell injection machines, and large cylindrical cell injection machines. With a market share exceeding 35% and a substantial presence in major client markets at 70%, it has successfully joined the top tier of injection equipment suppliers. Responding to the demands of the power battery market, the company has developed three high-tech injection devices, including a turntable injection machine, a "golden bell cover" isobaric injection machine, and a tunnel cavity isobaric injection machine, all known for their high technical content and stability. The tunnel cavity isobaric injection machine is utilized for fully automated injection in aluminum lithium batteries, ensuring a product qualification rate of ≥99.8% and a pressure capacity ranging from ≥0.8 MPa to a maximum of 1.3 MPa.

The equipment efficiently facilitates rapid electrolyte penetration and absorption, reducing residual bubbles. It operates through a constant high positive pressure injection method, preventing metal deformation of the battery shell caused by the cyclic positive and negative pressure, thereby averting safety risks associated with battery swelling. The unique airway structure employed in these devices allows the recycling of air sources, reducing the frequent operation of compressed air in the workshop by 50% and conserving energy. The overall injection pipeline structure is designed through topology optimization, fluid dynamics simulation, and integrated molding techniques, ensuring injection accuracy reaches ±0.5g. Furthermore, the electrolyte storage system adopts a 4-level filtration and dual-tank design with bubble elimination functionality, effectively addressing bubble issues.

In the section of cutting and stacking manufacturing process, Bozhon Precision Industry, together with SVOLT Energy, developed a high-speed thermal composite cutting and stacking integrated machine, successfully opening up a new technological route for the industry. The equipment can achieve ultra-efficient production of electrode slices at 0.125 seconds per piece. The manufacturing process includes multiple sets of CCD monitoring devices, ensuring that each electrode slice has a smooth and unblemished surface and that the stacking of electrode slices is neat and without displacement. Different from the Z-stacking process where separators, positive electrode slices, and negative electrode slices are stacked together, Bozhon Precision Industry's slicing equipment first uses two layers of separators to cover the negative electrode slice, undergoes heat compounding and edge sealing through heated rollers, then cuts it into pieces before stacking it sequentially with the positive electrode slices. This solves the longstanding problems in traditional slicing processes such as wrinkled separators, electrode powder dropping, and misalignment. Additionally, the equipment integrates stacking and heat pressing functions, significantly reducing equipment footprint and production line costs while greatly improving production line efficiency and product quality. The equipment achieved mass delivery in 2023.

In the field of battery assembly lines, the assembly lines adopt flexible and intelligent design. The MES system comprehensively monitors the entire production process, significantly enhancing product quality. Currently, Bozhon Precision Industry has provided lithium battery manufacturing process equipment and intelligent solutions for battery assembly lines to more than ten well-known domestic and international battery customers.

The battery production line delivered to a Turkish customer is Turkey's first lithium battery production line. Based on the stacking process, the entire production line incorporates advanced domestic manufacturing experience. The pulp mixing process employs a cycle-efficient pulp production system, which reduces energy consumption while greatly improving production efficiency. The coating process utilizes a slot process, combined with high-precision surface density online detectors, to monitor product quality in real time. The die-cutting process uses hardware mold punching and cutting integrated molding technology, coupled with visual inspection, strictly controlling the size and quality of electrode slices. The injection process uses isobaric injection, reducing injection time while minimizing the risk of battery deformation. At the same time, the entire production line is optimized according to the local conditions in Turkey, in terms of equipment energy consumption, workshop environment, and production processes, significantly enhancing production efficiency and reducing production costs.
